colour filled art deco home
A beautiful blank canvas becomes an exciting, expressive home.
TLC Home loved working with the owners of this fabulous art deco home to create a space that is unique to them - supporting their hobbies, interests and love of colour and design.
Entrance Hall
Moving inside from the minty blue front door this light filled entrance hall becomes a bright family space for play, chit chat or crafting. Featuring a sculptural table, paired with sleek chairs on a statement, colour punch rug.
Family Room
Moving from the Entrance Hall to the main Living Room - where playful details paired with sophisticated curves and natural materials keep this room fitting for all members of the family. TLC Home bespoke cabinetry offers both fun toy storage in the house minty blue, paired with grown up, curved oak display shelves and hidden storage. Quietly luxurious curtains and rug add further elegance.
Dining room
A wow moment, this colourful abstract wallpaper for the ceiling is anchored by the central, black pill shaped table, flanked by hot pink dining chairs. In contrast, the milky, pink glass lights and fluted glass in the doors of the bespoke cabinetry offer a delicate touch The pill shape is again mirrored in the finish of the lower cabinet doors, which features specially designed art supply storage.
Master Suite
The first floor layout meant we were able to create a real Master Suite using wallpaper and paint to bring separate spaces into one flowing zone. From the mood setting corridor to the jewel box dressing room and the slightly more understated, lighter toned, master bedroom. Plenty of practical, yet beautiful storage in TLC Home bespoke burgundy cabinetry as well as a gorgeous combination of colour and texture through the fabric choices. A proper bedroom retreat.
